My name is Delilah and thank you for visiting Harvesters’ Corner.
I have been a Wellness Advocate with doTERRA since November 2012. Over that time, I repeatedly found myself drawn to the stories of the people who brought us these wonderful and powerful oils. Because of my fascination with these tales, I have a large collection of accounts to share concerning the oils. I often find myself wanting to share these stories of the growers, harvesters, and distillers when I answer questions concerning the products.

One of my favorite essential oils is Bergamot, a citrus fruit grown in Sicily. When I am asked about Bergamot, the question is “How do you use it, and what does it support in my body?” Not, “Where does it come from?” and “Why is there so much Bergamot oil on the market when there is so little oil produced? Where does all of it come from?” As a result, I decided to create a place where I can tell the stories behind each of these precious oils.
I love the growers, harvesters, and distillers. I am in awe of the dedication it takes to grow and care for each plant the oils are distilled from.
As you read the articles that follow, please remember there are multiple ways to support each one of them. From the Vetiver farmers in Haiti to the gatherers of the Douglas Fir branches in New Zealand and everywhere between, each one has a story to tell. My goal is to share those stories and encourage you to support their efforts.
As I grow my following, I will be able to find more stories and share more experiences. Just as the Bergamot tree is grown in only one area of Sicily, and is only used as an aromatic, each oil is unique, and each has a story behind it.
Come back to read more about the growers, harvesters, and distillers who have chosen to partner with doTERRA’s Co-Impact Sourcing and the Healing Hands Foundation to improve their lives and the lives of their families. We'll see you next time at Harvesters' Corner!
